The Elderberry (Sambucas Nigras) has been with humankind for millennia. Hippocrates referred to the Elderberry as the "medicine chest" of all herbs because of its myriad of benefits as well as the usability of all its parts; leaf, flower and fruit of the plant.

Elderberry fruit contains Vitamin A, Potassium, Calcium, Vitamin C, and high levels of antioxidants like anthocyanins, which give the Elderberry its vibrant color.
It is widely accepted that Elderberry cooked thoroughly will boost immunity, increase respiratory function cardiovascular health, and detoxification.
Directions:
Place prepared tea bag in a crock pot with 4.5 cups of water. Cook on low for 8 hours or 4 hours on high. Allow to cool slightly and then squeeze the bag allowing all of the incredible nutrients to flow into the liquid. Add raw honey to taste, 4 tablespoon to 1/4 of a cup. Makes approximately 24 ounces and refrigerate up to 4 weeks.
Enjoy 1 tablespoon 1-3 times a day.
